County Graders are on the roads

If you are on the roads today or over the next few days and you are traveling behind a grader, please stay well back as the operator may not see you. When it is safe to do so, the grader operator will move over to allow you to pass.

The County manages 2,029 km of roads.

The County’s Snow Clearing Policy states that in the event of an extreme winter storm (such as on Monday/Tuesday) resulting in large amounts of snow, the County roads will be open within 5 days of the cessation of extreme winter storm conditions and/or safe conditions allow.

Thank you, in advance, for your patience.
