Fire Prevention Week – October 3 to 9

Residents are reminded to learn the sounds of fire safety. Does your smoke or carbon monoxide detector beep or chirp? Knowing the difference can save you and your family.  Link to Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety

Three loud beeps means smoke or fire.  Four loud beeps means carbon monoxide.

When you hear a beep, get out of your home and call 9-1-1.

Hear a chirp? The batteries or detectors need replacing.
