The County Transfer Stations are part of the Electronics Recycling Pilot Project: Additional electronics that can be recycled have been added.
What’s included in the Pilot Project? Audio visual equipment, cell phone & wireless devices, electronic gaming equipment, small home appliances, portable power tools, musical instruments and more. See the edition of Trash Talk for more information.
There is no charge to recycle these products during the two-year Pilot Project. And, place your electronics in the appropriate recycling bins at the Transfer Stations. Each bin is clearly labelled.
The expanded Electronics Recycling Pilot Project will keep up to 24,600 tonnes of material out of landfills.
