Floatingstone Lake Campground
Located 4 km west & 8 km north of Ashmont in a naturally wooded area abutting the south shore.
The park is maintained and groomed in the most meticulous fashion to ensure its natural beauty.
Campsite Information
- Located 30 minutes northwest of the Town of St. Paul
- 65 sites (19 are non-powered)
- Tenting can be enjoyed within each campsite, at the site rental rate
- Overflow parking lot for day use, located before the entrance gate

Campground Services
- 24-hour Park Attendant
- Free Wi-Fi
- Bundled firewood for $10/bundle
- Includes a dumping station and sewage disposal
Campground Amenities
- Swimming, fishing, playgrounds
- New boat launch, constructed in 2024
- Day-use area (reserve picnic areas for $25/day through the Park Attendants)
- Group-use Area (non-power)
- Shower facilities, including a beach shower with cold water (portable showers are not permitted)
- Gazebo on beach, available for rent
If bringing wood from outside of the Lakeland region, please ensure there is no elm in the mix and help prevent the spread of Dutch Elm Disease. Remember to "burn it where you buy it" - if in doubt, firewood bundles can be purchased from County campground caretakers.

Directions:
Head west on Hwy 28 from Ashmont. Turn North on Rg Rd 115 for 8 km, then turn right on Twp Rd 603. Watch for the blue Municipal Campground sign.
