Get Active in the County of St. Paul
When it comes to breathtaking natural scenery, St. Paul is difficult to beat. Our Parks and Recreation department work hard year-round to ensure our residents, visitors and guests know everything there is to know about our great county, while enjoying their time here.

Thanks to intermunicipal partnerships and grant programming, the County of St. Paul, the Town of St. Paul, and the Town of Elk Point have been working together on master plans and feasibility studies to improve recreation throughout the region.
Westcove Trail Network
Explore the County of St. Paul in a new way! Thanks to the collaboration with and the volunteers of the Lakeland Cross Country Ski Club (LCCSC), a Nordic ski trail network has been developed throughout the Westcove Municipal Recreation Area. A snowshoe trail network is also being developed.
Signposts with maps of the trails are placed throughout the park to help skiers navigate their way. The ski trail maps will be removed from the signposts after each winter season..
Non-members can drop in to use the ski trail network (adults for $10, youth ages 5-17 for $5, e-transferring to [email protected]). Purchase an annual membership on the LCCSC website!
All skiers must sign in before skiing for insurance and safety purposes.
