Commemoration for National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+)
Purpose: To honour and remember missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people, raise awareness, and foster healing through ceremony, storytelling, and community solidarity. This event will hold a Commemoration to MMIWG2S+ and will reveal a new tribute to the Mannawanis Native Friendship Centre. This will be a moment in history for our Centre!
