Bylaw 2025-17 Public Hearing: Road Closure

The County of St. Paul No. 19 is holding a Public Hearing for Bylaw 2025-17 on February 24, 2026, at 11 a.m. 1st reading of the Bylaw took place on December 9.

In 2018, the County completed the realignment of Township Road 610 between Range Roads 113 and 120, leaving surplus parts of the old road.  The County will hold a public hearing on Bylaw 2025-17, for the purpose of closing and transferring the abandoned parts of ‘Old’ Township Road 610 (parts of Road Plans 3571MC and 032 4245 in NW 33-60-11-4, SW 4, S½ 5, SE 6-61-11-4, and Lot 1 Block 1 Plan 102 3645) in accordance with Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, as amended. Persons claiming to be affected by these closures may voice their concerns at the Public Hearing. If you wish to speak for or against the proposed Bylaw, contact Betty Richard at [email protected], before Friday, February 20, 2026, to attend the meeting in person or virtually.  Comments may also be sent via written submissions that are mailed, emailed ([email protected]), or delivered to the County Office prior to the Public Hearing.

At the Public Hearing, the Chair shall hear representation first from people who claim to be directly affected by the proposed road closure, followed by any other person who wishes to speak.
