Bylaw 2026-24 Public Hearing: Land Rezoning
The County of St. Paul is holding a Public Hearing for Bylaw 2026-24 on November 24, 2026, at 11 a.m. The first reading of the Bylaw took place on October 27.
The purpose of the Bylaw is to rezone a portion of SW 21-56-11-W4 from Agriculture (A) to Country Residential (CR1) and a portion of Lot 47, Block 3, Plan 082 6580 from CR1 to A. These changes would allow for a minor lot line adjustment to correct an existing encroachment across the boundary between the two properties.
The draft bylaw can be found here. Council will receive comments at the Public Hearing on the proposed rezoning, in accordance with Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, as amended.
Persons claiming to be affected by the proposed change may voice their concerns at the Public Hearing. If you wish to speak for or against Bylaw 2026-24, contact Betty Richard at [email protected], by Friday, November 20, 2026, to attend the meeting in person or virtually. Comments may also be sent via written submissions that are mailed, emailed ([email protected]), or delivered to the County Administration Office before the Public Hearing.
At the Public Hearing, the Chair shall hear representation first from people who claim to be directly affected by the proposed amendment, followed by any other person who wishes to speak.
