Bylaw 2026-03 Public Hearing: LUB Amendments
The County of St. Paul No. 19 is holding a Public Hearing for Bylaw 2026-03 on February 24, 2026, at 1 p.m. 1st reading of the Bylaw took place on January 27.
The County has received an application to amend Sections 7.35(2) and 7.35(29) of the Land Use Bylaw regarding Wind Energy Conversion Systems. The purpose of the Public Hearing on Bylaw 2026-03 is to receive public comments on the proposed changes, in accordance with Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, as amended. Persons claiming to be affected by these amendments may voice their concerns at the Public Hearing. If you wish to speak for or against the proposed Bylaw, contact Betty Richard at [email protected], before Friday, February 20, 2026, to attend the meeting in person or virtually. Comments may also be sent via written submissions that are mailed, emailed ([email protected]), or delivered to the County Office prior to the Public Hearing.
At the Public Hearing, the Chair shall hear representation first from people who claim to be directly affected by the proposed road closure, followed by any other person who wishes to speak.
