For Lease by Tender, proposed terms

The County of St. Paul No. 19 is accepting tenders for the lease of the following County-owned lands for grazing purposes only. The two parcels listed below will be leased together as one lease.

Submission

Interested parties are invited to submit one tender for both parcels indicating:

  1. Annual lease amount offered
  2. Proposed length of lease term

The deadline for tenders with respect to the Lands shall be 4:00 p.m. on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2026. All offers must be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed as follows:

Terms

  • All improvement costs will be the responsibility of the successful bidder, which may include constructing a fence if required.
  • The County will not be responsible for providing or improving access to the Lands.
  • The successful lease holder will be required to have comprehensive general liability insurance with inclusive limits not less than two million dollars ($2,000,000). The County of St. Paul No. 19 must be named as an additional insured on the leaseholder’s policy.
  • The highest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted. The County reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all tenders or cancel this invitation for tender without awarding a lease. The final lease term, annual lease amount, and conditions of the lease are subject to approval by the County of St. Paul No.19.
  • Upon entering into an Agreement with the County, the successful bidder will be required to provide payment upon execution of the agreement. The lease holder will be invoiced in subsequent years.
  • The Lands are offered for lease on an “as is, where is” basis. Interested parties are encouraged to inspect the Lands prior to submitting a tender.

Tender Opening

The tender opening will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., and will be livestreamed on YouTube under ‘County of St. Paul No. 19’.
