Reintroducing the Beverage Container Recycling Program

The County of St. Paul is currently accepting applications from local, non-profit organizations to participate in the Beverage Container Recycling Program! This program allows groups to collect the bottles from select County bin sites and collect the refund as part of their fundraising efforts.

The Beverage Container Recycling Program began in October 2020. Containers purchased locally are, in turn, supporting local organizations and initiatives.

Completed application forms and letters of intent will be accepted until April 28, 2026. Application packages can be submitted to Chris Schuh, Agriculture & Waste Supervisor, by:

  • Mail or in person to the County of St. Paul Public Works Shop (5618 57 Street, St. Paul AB, T0A 3A1)
  • Email to [email protected]

Successful applicants will sign a 3-year contract with the County. Applicants are encouraged to read WM-3 Recycled Beverage Container Collection Program policy to ensure they understand the program requirements. You can also find the application form here.
