Resolution CM 20230411.1028 Public Hearing: Owlseye Road Closures

The County of St. Paul No. 19 is holding a public hearing for Resolution CM 20230411.1028 on June 9, 2026, at 11 a.m. The resolution was passed during the April 11, 2023, Council Meeting.

The purpose of the resolution is to close and dispose of the abandoned parts of Road Plan 867CL and Plan 1123649 in the Hamlet of Owlseye, in accordance with Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, as amended. Resolution 20230411.1028 can be found in the April 11, 2023, Council Minutes.

A Public Hearing will be held where persons claiming to be affected by these closures may voice their concerns. If you wish to speak for or against the proposed closures, contact Betty Richard at [email protected], before Friday, June 5, 2026, to attend the meeting.  Comments may also be sent via written submissions that are mailed, emailed ([email protected]), or delivered to the County Office prior to the Public Hearing.

At the Public Hearing, the Chair shall hear representation first from people who claim to be directly affected by the proposed road closure, followed by any other person who wishes to speak.
