Bylaw 2026-02 Public Hearing: Rezoning
The County of St. Paul No. 19 is holding a Public Hearing for Bylaw 2026-02 on February 24, 2026, at 11:15 a.m. 1st reading of the Bylaw took place on January 13.
The purpose of Bylaw 2026-02 is to redistrict Lot 2 Block 2 Plan 142 2979 (Part NW 19-60-9-W4) from the Country Residential One (CR1) District to the Agricultural (A) District to facilitate the existing beekeeping operation, in accordance with Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, as amended. Persons claiming to be affected by this change may voice their concerns at the Public Hearing. If you wish to speak for or against the proposed Bylaw, contact Betty Richard at [email protected], before Friday, February 20, 2026, to attend the meeting in person or virtually. Comments may also be sent via written submissions that are mailed, emailed ([email protected]), or delivered to the County Office prior to the Public Hearing.
At the Public Hearing, the Chair shall hear representation first from people who claim to be directly affected by the proposed road closure, followed by any other person who wishes to speak.
